Once upon a time there was a girl called Little Red Riding Hood...

(Había una vez una niña llamada Caperucita Roja...)

MOTHER (Madre)

“Go and see your granny because she is ill in bed. Be a good girl and take her some food”.

(Ve a visitar a tu abuelita que está en cama enferma. Se una buena niña y llevale

algo de comer)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“Ok mum. I will go there with this basket”.

(Vale mamá. Iré allí con la cestita)

MOTHER (Madre)

“Here you have a cake, some bread and honey”.

(Aquí tienes un pastel, algo de pan y miel)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“Ok mum. I will follow the path in the forest”.

(Vale mamá. Seguiré el sendero del bosque)

MOTHER (Madre)

“Please go straight to granny’s house and don’t speak to any strangers!”

(Por favor ve directa a casa de la abuelita y ¡no hables con ningún extraño!)

NARRATOR (Narrador)

she was walking through the forest, when she met a wolf.

(Iva caminando por el bosque cuando se encontró un lobo)

WOLF (Lobo)

“Where are you going little girl?”

(¿Dónde vas niñita?)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“I am going to visit my granny because she is very ill. She lives in the other side of the forest”.

(Voy a visitar a mi abuelita porque está muy enferma. Ella vive en el otro lado del bosque)

WOLF (Lobo)

LooK, this is the shortest way to arrive to your granny’s house”.

(¿Ves ese camino niñita? es el más corto para llegar a casa de tu abuelita)

NARRATOR (Narrador)

It wasn’t the shortest but the longest so he took the shortest path and got to granny’s house sooner than Little Red Riding Hood.

(No era el más corto,sino el más largo.El lobo cogio  el más corto y llego antes a la casa de la abuelita)

WOLF (Lobo)

(knock, knock, knock)

GRANNY (Abuelita)

“Who is it?”

(¿Quién es?)

WOLF (Lobo)

 Your grand-daughter”.

(Soy Caperucita, tu nieta)

GRANNY (Abuelita)

“Oh come in my darling, the door is open”.

(Oh entra cariño, la puerta está abierta)

WOLF (Lobo)

“Hello granny, I am going to eat you!”

(Hola abuelita, ¡voy a comerte!)

GRANNY (Abuelita)

“Ohhh my good! the wolf! Help! Help!”

(¡Ohhh dios mio! ¡el lobo! ¡Ayuda! ¡Ayuda!)

NARRATOR (Narrador)

The wolf put on granny’s clothes and locked her in the wardrobe, Then he got into her bed to wait for the girl. When she arrived, she knocked the door.

(El lobo se puso la ropa de la abuelita y la encerró en el armario, después se metió en su cama para esperar a Caperucita. Cuando llegó, Caperucita llamó a la puerta)

(TOC, TOC, TOC)

WOLF (Lobo)

“Who is it?”

(¿Quién es?)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“I am Little Red Riding Hood, your grand-daughter”.

(Soy Caperucita, tu nieta)

WOLF (Lobo)

“Oh come in my darling, the door is open”.

(Oh entra cariño, la puerta está abierta)

NARRATOR (Narrador)

When Little Red Riding Hood was into the house the little girl said very surprised...

(Cuando Caperucita entró en la casa, la abuelita estaba muy extraña, y la niñita dijo muy sorprendida...)

“Granny, what big eyes you have!”

(“Abuelita, ¡Qué ojos más grandes tienes!”)

WOLF (Lobo)

“to see you better!”

(“¡Son para verte mejor!”)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“Granny, what big ears you have!”

(“Abuelita, ¡Qué orejas más grandes tienes!”)

WOLF (Lobo)

“They are  to hear you better! ”

(“¡Son para oírte mejor!”)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“Granny, what a big nose you have!”

(“Abuelita, ¡Qué nariz más grande tienes!”)

WOLF (Lobo)

¡to smell you better!”

(“¡Es para olerte mejor!”)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“Granny, what big teeth you have!”

(“Abuelita, ¡Qué dientes más grandes tienes!”)

WOLF (Lobo)

 to eat you better!”

(“¡Son para comerte mejor!”)

 LITTLE RED RIDING HOOD (Caperucita Roja)

“Oh! Help! Help! The wolf wants to eat me”.

NARRATOR (Narrador)

There was a woodcutter near and....

(En ese momento el leñador entró en casa de la abuelita porque escuchó todo y dijo...)

WOODCUTTER (Leñador)

“What’s going on here?” Leave the granny and the girl alone.Go away, you nasty animal and do not come back again...

(“¿Qué pasa aquí?”)

NARRATOR (Narrador)

So the wolf ran away into the forest.

(Cuando el leñador vio al lobo en casa de la abuelita, lo golpeó, y después el lobo se marchó por el bosque)

“Thank you vey much!”

(“¡Muchísimas Gracias!”)

WOODCUTTER (Leñador)

“That bad wolf won't hurt you again!"

(“¡Ese malvado lobo no os molestará más!”)

GRANNY (Abuelita)

“We will always be so grateful with you!”

(“¡Le estaremos siempre muy agradecidas!”)

NARRATOR (Narrador)

the wolf never came back, and little red riding hood and her family lived happy forever

(El lobo no volvió nunca más, y Caperucita y su familia vivieron felices para siempre)
